The WAHM appears to be the mother of all corporate victories, one that touts the elusive “balance” between motherhood and career. The gender equality win we’ve been fighting for! Brava! Educated women get to have their babies and their jobs. Their minivans and their tenure tracks. Their 401Ks and their families. Their cakes. All the cakes! And eating them proudly with their paychecks.

Most of the high-paying remote jobs listed require you already have experience in a particular field and/or are prepared to switch careers, retrain, and/or go back to school for a new degree. That can take years, and while not an impossible feat, one that’s decidedly more difficult with young children.

Hi Emma, Sorry to hear about your job loss and we hope things are going better for you. The jobs and resources in this post have been researched and they are legitimate. My advice to you would be to determine what marketable skills you have that could help you earn an income from an online job. Can you type well? Are you a skilled writer or editor? Do you have amazing organizational skills? Are you good at problem solving? If you are still in need of a job you should look into customer service rep positions or maybe even look into direct sales if you are a people person. Good luck!
